A metro contractor needed reliable slab support for a deep station box. Here is how our steel shoring props delivered.
The challenge
The station slab was thick and the box deep, so the props had to reach a tall, exact height while carrying a heavy wet-concrete load with a comfortable safety margin.
The solution
- Adjustable steel props in custom extended heights
- U-head jacks on top for fine formwork leveling
- Base jacks below to level on the slab base
- Galvanized finish for the humid environment
The result
The props held the formwork square and level through the pour, stripped cleanly and were redeployed on the next bay. The contractor reordered for later phases.
